Spring Has "Really" Arrived

After all the false starts and stops, it seems like Spring has stopped by in the Northern Virginia area, for about a week or so. Then Summer came in with a vengeance, and I don't think there will be too many people complaining.

Our big event for the season, the Joint Manassas/Warren Stated Convocation, is almost upon us. On May 10th, the Companions from Warren and Manassas Chapters will get together for a feast of a fundraiser (Steak Dinner), fellowship, and an amazing presentation on the "Lost Word" by Masonic celebrity Right Worshipful and Companion Robert Johnson. You may recognize the name from his long-running Masonic Podcast Whence Came You? and as one of co-hosts of The Masonic Roundtable. For those who have never listened to it, I encourage you to stop what you are doing and listen to an episode. Now.

In membership news, Manassas has one more candidate progressing through the degrees, and we cannot wait until his journey through the Royal Arch is complete!
